Only toilet paper and waste should enter your septic system, even if an item says it’s flushable. This can cause blockages in the plumbing and can affect your septic tank. Do not allow heavy equipment or vehicles over or on top of your septic system.
If you are having a party, do not use your drainfield area a parking lot (or any part of your system). If you are having a pool, landscaping or sprinklers installed, do not allow driving over any portion of your septic system.
